LESSON #2
YOU DON’T HAVE TO AGREE TO DISAGREE:
GIVE YOURSELF THE RIGHT TO BE DIFFERENT
You are responsible for yourself, ie your experience.
You can care, but you are not responsible for how others feel.
You are not responsible for harmony.
Growth means being more you. This will lead to differences with others. Mature people embrace and celebrate these differences. The doubt in moments of incompatibility is where you give other people the chance to learn about the real you. It’s also where you can see to what degree they are capable of responding to you and your needs.
